Myra Kazi

I am a single mother of two beautiful children. They mean the world to me and keep me striving hard to accomplish my goals. I am very family oriented surrounded by great friends.
Working as a nurse has given me compassion to care for the sick. Sometimes, something simple as a warm smile goes a long way!!! The patients in return have given me the greatest gift of all----to cherish life and enjoy the simple pleasures!!
My passion towards fitness and health has lead me to Zumba. It is not only a great workout but anyone can do it!!! It's an exercise that doesn't feel like you're exercising!!!! Everyone comes together learning to dance!!! I hope it's something everyone enjoys!!

Since 1997 Drema has been a certified yoga instructor with the Integral Yoga Institute, New York, N.Y. She is qualified as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher® (E-RYT) with the national organization, Yoga Alliance®. She has studied with many world-renowned master yoga teachers.  Drema’s Yoga class is a rejuvenation of your whole being—body, mind, and spirit.  The class begins with attention to alignment and foundation, so that there is a safe space for the body to play and find expression.  As you shift through the poses you will be encouraged to keep coming back to the breath.  This is an exercise for the mind; allowing you to experience present time.  The journey ends with learning the art of deep relaxation as you are guided to get in touch with your state of inner calm.  The class format is specifically designed to complement the collective energy of the group, so you can count on a unique experience each time. Drema uses her deep knowledge of nutrition and yoga to understand how best to bring the body back into balance and optimum health. She is a Holistic Health Practitioner, board certified through American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). In 1998 she completed her schooling in Nutrition and Holistic Health at The Academy of Natural Health Sciences (Woodbridge, N.J.). Drema graduated as a Digestive Health Specialist in 2009 from the Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition.

Meg Schneck:

In 1999 she stepped foot into her first yoga class and at that moment she knew she had found her life calling; teaching yoga. Meg began on her spiritual journey and immersed herself in teacher training as soon as she graduated from her Bachelors program in Psychology. After completing both she decided to continue her studies in psychology; she relocated to Cambridge, Ma and began her Masters in holistic psychology. Meg believes coupling psychology and yoga to form a complete healing modality that encompasses all aspects of healing mind, body and spirit. Meg returned back to Staten Island and felt compelled to return back to school to study nursing. Today Meg is an RN. Meg has held strongly to her yoga practice during the difficulties of nursing for both herself and her patients.  Class Description: In 2003 Meg became a certified Yoga Instructor through Integral Yoga Institute in NYC. In 2005 she had completed yoga teacher training with Shiva Rea. Meg has been inspired by Shiva Rea to establish her own personal flow. Today Meg teaches vinyasa style yoga which ties the breathe and movement together for a complete mind/body experience. Meg strongly believes that when you step on the yoga mat, it is like stepping into a temple. It is both spiritual and personal. It is one's time to step into the present moment; the only moment we will ever have. Meg lives by Ghandi's quote   “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
